Happy Birthday Susie!

I love you so much! Who would have ever imagined that getting old would be the very best part?

If we were in our twenties.....who would not yet be a chunk of our lives? Ya....we could still touch some pretty special people, but...I close my eyes and connect with them still...

Life is beautiful and I am so glad you are in mine!
Last night was the Relief Society Broadcast. It was totally about the Relief Society organization...what it is and what it does and what it can do for me and what I should do as a member. I've been thinking.... The opening song was, "There is Sunshine in my soul Today" I keep playing back...."When Jesus shows his smiling face"Who doesn't want 'sunshine' in their soul? I do. I want it. I want it all the time, every day. I want to bask in it. I crave, need, covet, desire sunshine in my soul. According to the song, the source is the smiling face of Jesus. It also connects blessed sunshine with 'peaceful, happy moments' This is going to be my quest. Finding my sunshine and helping everyone else find theirs. I learned that being an excellent visiting teacher is a good way to get Jesus to show his smiling face, so that is where I am going to start. This week, each of them will get a little of my sunshine. Yes, oh yes, oh yes!!

Brrrrrr.......

You never should have shot Phillip with that squirt gun....

The ocean shows no mercy

You've got to be careful where you pick to park

Sometimes play is serious business

San Diego is for playing with your cousins.

Heaven on Earth

I'm tracking.....
3 things I did
3 things done for me
what I noted 'out there'

I did....
fixed Chantz chocolate syrup for his ice cream
entertained and babysat
substituted in Primary

Done for me....
Gary cooked
David hugged
Chantz said I was awesome

Noted...
everyone serving in church
saw Frannie give Mom a kiss
watched Chantz hold David on his lap

New Orleans

We went to New Orleans with OPD. Good times with nice folks. I wandered all over the city taking pictures while Gary went to dry classes. Another perk being his honey ;)

While the boys braved the Matterhorn, the girls visited Alice in Wonderland....or were those crazy guys in the teacups? I guess at least one of them was behind a camera! (sorry, Mandy, but I look presentable:)

I told Gar that this photo would be art in my photography class, but he got it quite by accident as the rollercoaster was screaming around a life threatening bend. He held the camera over his shoulder and snapped. How could he let go of the bar.....He is SO BRAVE!!!

Bonnie's Boys

I've decided to take up photography as a creative outlet. For every 1000 pictures I come up with one that is worthy of the effort. Mostly it's luck. This is Dianne.
